Located in the high deserts of western Arizona, in the shadow of the towering Hualapai Mountains, is a very special place. It is a land of stunning natural beauty. It is where the past, the present, and even the future blend seamlessly. It is Kingman.

This is a town with the world’s only electric vehicle museum and a storied connection to iconic Route 66. Established as the Kingman Army Airfield in WWII, the Kingman Airport is now home to a fast growing, modern industrial park. Also located here is the award winning Desert Diamond Distillery with its renovated 1918 dining car as a unique restaurant.

In the historic business district there is a thriving arts community with galleries and shops. There are also award winning microbreweries, a wine bar and an eclectic array of restaurants. And on the third Saturday of each month, April through October, the hands of time are rolled back as Chillin’ on Beale fills the district with music and vintage cars.

The Cerbat Foothills Recreation Area that arcs through the Cerbat Mountain foothills to the north of town are laced with miles of scenic hiking and mountain bike trails. Here to you will find remnants of 19th century wagon roads, the desert oasis that is Beale Springs, a maze of scenic canyons, and tangible links to the Hualapai people that lived in this rugged land.

The climate is ideal. Winters are mild, snow is rare. Summer is hot but with low humidity. And there is an average of more than 332 sunny days each year.

Kingman is centrally located. Las Vegas is just one hundred miles to the north. Phoenix is 180 miles to the south. Los Angeles and the pacific coast is just 365 miles to the west. The Colorado River and the casinos of Laughlin, Nevada with its exciting night life and entertainment is just 40 miles to the west.

Worried about the heat or missing snow in the winter? The pine forested oasis that is Hualapai Mountain Park is just 12 scenic miles south of town.

The park is laced with beautiful shade dappled trails. The lodge provides fine dining with unforgettable views. And rustic stone cabins as well as the campgrounds make this an ideal family weekend getaway.

Kingman is also located at the center of the longest uninterrupted section of Route 66 that remains. Scenic wonders, ghost towns turned fun filled family destination, the scenic wonders of the Grand canyon Caverns and Keepers of the Wild wildlife park are all found with this scenic 160 mile drive.

A low cost of living. Scenic wonders at every turn. Near perfect climate. A business friendly climate. Mohave Community College that is affiliated with Northern Arizona University. Recreational opportunities that are only limited by imagination.

If Kingman seems like a slice of heaven, and you are looking for a new place to call home, call the professionals at Apex Manufactured Homes Sales. Affiliated with Schult Homes, Apex has a wide array of floor plans to choose from, and a home for most every budget.
